Kunshan German Industrial Park (KSGIP) Experience Center serves as a centralized window to showcase the achievements of Zhangpu, Kunshan in industrial development, technological innovation, talent cultivation, and business environment. It is also a core contact point for visitors to gain a comprehensive understanding of Zhangpu Town and Kunshan German Industrial Park. Through four thematic chapters—“Attract German Investors” “Attract High-end Food and Smart Manufacturing Industries” “Attract Scientific Innovation Talents” and “Reliable Government Services”, this center provides a comprehensive presentation of Zhangpu’s achievements in fulfilling Secretary Xi’s Directive of “Outlining Modernization Goals”. As a key platform showcasing regional development, it not only serves as an “exhibition hall of Zhangpu’s high-quality development achievements”, but also as a “magnetic field for investment and innovation resources.”

Established in 2005, KSGIP welcomed its first German company, FKM China, the same year. In 2012,  the German Industrial Park Green Incubation Base was opened, which was the first specialized platform in China to introduce a German team for its management. It has since been successively recognized with several national honors, including Sino-German Cooperation Zone (Kunshan) for SMEs, Member of Sino-German Advisory Committee. With over 20 years of development, this 109-square-kilometer area has become a thriving hub for foreign enterprises, attracting eight Global 500 companies, including Wilmar International, and hosted a total of 554 foreign-invested enterprises.
